Transaction Process
Follow these simple steps to transact safely with confidence.
Buyer and Seller Agree
The buyer and seller agree on price, item details, and delivery mode. This can happen over a phone call or through the Tumalock platform.
Depositing the Funds
The buyer locks payment with Tumalock Deal. Funds up to Ksh 500,000 are securely held until delivery. (M-Pesa max deposit per transaction is Ksh 250,000).
Product Delivery / Service Rendering
The seller ships items or provides the service after receiving a 'LOCKED SUCCESSFULLY' message. Delivery can be direct or via a Tumalock agent office.
Releasing Money to the Seller
Once the buyer confirms the goods or service, they unlock the payment. Funds are released to the seller — finalizing the deal securely.
